Ensimmäisen koulupäivän tunnelmia Feelings of the first school day




11.1.2016 oli jännittävä päivä. Ensimmäiset oppilaat pääsivät juuri avattuun, vielä hiukkasen keskeneräiseen kouluun. Valtaosa paikalla silloin olleista oppilaista olivat 4-vuotiaita. Aikaisin alkaa opintie. Tällä hetkellä tuolit ovat vaihtuneet puisiin, itse tehtyihin tukeviin istuimiin.

The 11th of January 2016 was an exciting day. The first pupils were admitted to the newly opened, slightly unfinished, school. The most part of the pupils present on that day were 4-year-olds. How early the first steps on the road to learning are to be taken. Nowadays the chairs have been replaced by wooden, self-made, solid ones.




Lapset keskittyivät hiljaa ensimmäisen koulupäivän alkuseremonioihin.
The children concentrated quietly on the opening ceremonies of the first school day.

Viivasta ja sen myötä ympyrästä kaikki oppi alkaa!
Yhtä ympyräähän me kaikki ihmisetkin olemme ympäri maailmaa, toinen toistemme lähimmäisiä.

 All learning starts from a line, followed by a circle! Also, we all people around the world form one circle, being each other’s fellowmen.









Kädestä pitäen on neuvottava näitä pieniä suloisia ihmisiä.
Itse koulussa työskentelevänä ajattelen, että näyttää vähän epäergonomiselta tuo työasento...

One must guide these little, sweet people by the hand.
As a person working at school, I myself think that this working position does not look very ergonomic…

Päivän kunniaksi tarjottiin näitä Sri Lankalaisia juhlatarjoamisia; milkricea, rosetteja, banaaneja ja kahdenlaisia kookosöljyssä kypsennettyjä riisijauhokakkaroita. Hyviä ovat kaikki, nam!

To celebrate the day, these Sri Lankan delicacies were served: milk rice, rosettes, bananas and two kinds of rice flour pastries fried in coconut oil. All tasted good, yummy!

Koulun ikkunat on saatu jo lähes valmiiksi. The school windows are almost finished. Oppimiselle mahdollisuus Opportunity for Learning

Uuden keräysluvan turvin koulunkäynti on edelleen turvattu. Tilin muututtua yritystiliksi keräyslupa on jatkuva. Se vaatii kuitenkin meiltä vastuullisilta enemmän työtä ja myös tilinhoitokulut nousivat huomattavasti. Mielellään kuitenkin teemme tätä iloa ja oppimista tukevaa työtä ja haluamme taata koulutuksen mahdollisuuden ja kenties sen myötä paremman tulevaisuuden. After receiving the new collection licence, school operations continue to be secured. As the account changed into a company account, the collection licence will be continuous. However, it will demand more work from us responsible, and the account management costs also increased considerably. Nevertheless, we are pleased to do this work supporting joy and learning and we want to guarantee the opportunity for education and perhaps, along with it, a better future.

Silmälasikeräys on voimassa kaiken aikaa! Collection of eyeglasses is valid all the time!

  Olemme jälleen saaneet yksityisiltä sekä yhteistyökumppaneiltamme, mm. FennO- Optiikalta ja Jyväs-Optiikalta, runsaasti silmälaseja, joita on tällä hetkellä kasassa jo 450 kpl. Pakkailen niitä matkalaukkuun odottamaan seuraavaa matkaa; mielessä auringon lämpö  ja ihanat, iloiset ihmiset...antaahan se aavistuksen verran mukavaa tunnetta rintaan ja nostaa hyviä muistoja pintaan aiemmista matkoista silmälasilastien kanssa.   😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🙋🌞🌞🌞   We have once again received plenty of glasses, amounting to 450 pcs at present, from private individuals and our cooperation partners, for example Fenno Optiikka and Jyväs-Optiikka. I am packing them to a suitcase to wait for the next trip; the warmth of the sun and lovely, happy people in my mind...it surely gives you a nice feeling inside, even slightly, and raises good memories of the earlier trips with loads of glasses.
