Laatoitusta Paving the floor with flagstones Den Boden mit Platten pflastern






Rejjipuran koulun sisätilojen remontti etenee hyvää vauhtia ja lattian laatoitusta on jo päästy laittamaan.

The indoor renovation of the Rejjipura school is progressing rapidly, with the paving of the floor well under way.

Die Innenrenovierung der Schule in Rejjipura schreitet zügig voran, die Bodenfliesen werden gerade verlegt.







 

Turisteja on todella vähän tähän aikaan Hikkaduwan rannoilla. Silti joku ahkera paikallinen vuokraa surffilautoja niille vähille matkalaisille. Hyväpä on aalloilla surffailla, kun ei ole veden päällä ruuhkaa;)
Tuosta kuvasta tulee aivan kuin läpi se ihana, hellivä lämpö, joka on Sri Lankassa ympäri vuoden melko tasainen riippumatta sateista tai paisteesta.
Vaikka me täällä pohjolassa elämme nyt syksyä ja sen myötä sää on kolea ja kostea, niin luonnon väriloisto on todella kaunis ja tekee hyvää mielelle kun sitä katselee.
Asioilla on puolensa!

At this time of the year, there are very few tourists around on the Hikkaduwa beaches. Nevertheless, some hard-working local hires out surfboards to those occasional travellers. It must be nice surfing on waves without the crowds;)
Through this photo you can almost feel the wonderful, caressing warmth which prevails in Sri Lanka throughout the year regardless of rain or sunshine.
Although we here in the North are now living in the middle of autumn with chilly and damp weather, nature with all its blaze of colours is really beautiful to look at, thus raising your spirits.
There is more than one side to the matter!

Zu dieser Zeit im Jahr, gibt es nur wenige Touristen an den Stränden in Hikkaduwa. Dennoch, einige hart arbeitende Einheimische vermietet Surfbretter an die gelegentlichen Reisenden. Es ist sicherlich schön zu surfen, wenn man nicht inmitten einer Menge ist 😊 Durch dieses Foto kann man fast die wunderbare streichelnde Wärme spüren, die das ganze Jahr in Sri Lanka herrscht, unabhängig davon, ob es regnet oder die Sonne scheint.

Obwohl wir hier im Norden (Finnland) gerade inmitten des Herbstes mit kühlem und feuchtem Wetter leben, ist die Natur mit all ihrer Farbenpracht sehr schön anzusehen, was die Stimmung wieder hebt. Es gibt immer mehr als nur eine Seite.

Koulun ikkunat on saatu jo lähes valmiiksi. The school windows are almost finished. Die Schulfenster sind fast fertig Tässä tehdään suunnitelmia ikkunoiden kuljettamiseksi 10 km:n päähän Rejjipuran koululle. Tämä puusepän verstas on todella jyrkän rinteen alla kapean hiekkatien mutkan takana, eikä sinne kovin iso auto edes pääse. Oppimiselle mahdollisuus Opportunity for Learning

Uuden keräysluvan turvin koulunkäynti on edelleen turvattu. Tilin muututtua yritystiliksi keräyslupa on jatkuva. Se vaatii kuitenkin meiltä vastuullisilta enemmän työtä ja myös tilinhoitokulut nousivat huomattavasti. Mielellään kuitenkin teemme tätä iloa ja oppimista tukevaa työtä ja haluamme taata koulutuksen mahdollisuuden ja kenties sen myötä paremman tulevaisuuden. After receiving the new collection licence, school operations continue to be secured. As the account changed into a company account, the collection licence will be continuous. However, it will demand more work from us responsible, and the account management costs also increased considerably. Nevertheless, we are pleased to do this work supporting joy and learning and we want to guarantee the opportunity for education and perhaps, along with it, a better future.

Silmälasikeräys on voimassa kaiken aikaa! Collection of eyeglasses is valid all the time!

  Olemme jälleen saaneet yksityisiltä sekä yhteistyökumppaneiltamme, mm. FennO- Optiikalta ja Jyväs-Optiikalta, runsaasti silmälaseja, joita on tällä hetkellä kasassa jo 450 kpl. Pakkailen niitä matkalaukkuun odottamaan seuraavaa matkaa; mielessä auringon lämpö  ja ihanat, iloiset ihmiset...antaahan se aavistuksen verran mukavaa tunnetta rintaan ja nostaa hyviä muistoja pintaan aiemmista matkoista silmälasilastien kanssa.   😎😎😎😎😎😎😎😎🙋🌞🌞🌞   We have once again received plenty of glasses, amounting to 450 pcs at present, from private individuals and our cooperation partners, for example Fenno Optiikka and Jyväs-Optiikka. I am packing them to a suitcase to wait for the next trip; the warmth of the sun and lovely, happy people in my mind...it surely gives you a nice feeling inside, even slightly, and raises good memories of the earlier trips with loads of glasses.
